Significant high grade gold has been confirmed from multiple brittle-ductile structural zones by Hodges Resources (ASX: HDG) at the Åsenbogruvan Uranium Gold Rare Earth Elements project in Sweden.
Grab sampling returned 19.0g/t gold and 1.9% U3O8 at the Långvattnet prospect, with other very encouraging results of up to 1.6% U3O8 from sampling of radioactive boulders at the Nörr Dottern 1 project.
Hodges plans to undertake a program of detailed mapping and geophysics aimed at better understanding and defining the potential high grade gold and uranium targets at the Åsenbogruvan Project, with further exploration at the Nörr Dottern U project will follow up strong drill results, with
additional drilling planned for this Northern hemisphere winter.
The Nörr Dottern Project (Hodges earning up to 70%) consists of four exploration licenses located within the Arvidsjaur uranium province of northern Sweden.
