SAN ANTONIO, Texas (AFP) - Spurs point guard Tony Parker has signed a multi-year contract extension, preserving San Antonio's 'Big Three' at least through the next NBA season.

The Spurs announced the deal with their star French import on Saturday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Parker entered the season in the final year of his contract.

It was uncertain the Spurs would make him an offer, even though the former NBA All-Star had repeatedly said he wanted to stay in San Antonio.

San Antonio's core trio of Parker, Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili is now signed up through next season, which is the final year of Duncan's contrac
